Teen Rents $10m Mansion, ‘About to Buy Lamborghini’, With Profit From Anti-Masturbation App

A young British techpreneur is helping others fight masturbation and at the same time living the dream life of any tech startup founder.

19-year-old Alex Slater built an app, Quittr porn, to encourage people to quit masturbation. The app passed a million downloads within its first year of launch.

Alex who had dropped out of college to develop the app with his business partner, Connor McLaren, made $500,000 per month, mainly profit, since the app was launched. He is about to buy a Lamborghini.

“I live in a $10million rented house in Miami with my friends, who are also my colleagues.

“Am I living the dream? Yes, I guess I am.

“But the best thing is I know we are helping people every single day.

“The number of under-18s who are prepared to download and pay for Quittr is alarming,” he said in an interview.

How does Quittr porn work?

The app costs £29.99 a year. Upon subscribing, users are asked about how they watch porn and how it affects them.

This is followed by information advising against masturbation which include telling them porn is a drug and that it can destriy relationships. They are then asked to make a pledge to stop and recommit daily.

To personalise experience on the app, users are prompted to choose what they aim to achive such as stronger relationships and better sex life.

The app also feature an AI chat funtion that can offer support and block some porn sites. To encourage users, a “life tree” grows with each positive life choice made instead of watching porn.

It also has a “panic button” users can press when they are about to relapse. Alex explained the phone vibrates and the camera springs into action so the user can see their face. He says: “I guess it’s shaming, but it works. Do they want to see a person failing or succeeding?”

The developers however failed to explain how they are able to track users indeed do not watch porn. If they have the app on one phone, what stops them from watching on another phone or any other compatible gadget. Therefore, the app is only effective if the user is sincere.

Regardless, with the increasing number of users, Alex and his partner, Connor, are smiling to the bank.
