A popular and former pornographic actress, Lana Rhoades, has narrated an awkward dating experience she had with an alleged NBA star suspected to be Kevin Durant.

The former adult movie star recalled in June 2021, while appearing on the “3 Girls, 1 Kitchen” podcast, that the NBA star is “not generally my type”.

On why she decided to go out with him despite not being her “type”, she clarified, “I was willing to give this guy a shot. Not generally my type, but I’m like, ‘Okay, you’re very intelligent. You’re successful. I think I could give this a go because I like your mind.'”

What made the date awkward?

The retired porn star claimed the then-Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant showed up to their first date with a “backup girl” in tow. He had told Rhoades “my fuck buddy for the past year is coming with us'”.

How did we know she was talking about Kevin Durant?

Well, based on an analysis by Basketball Network, Rhoades hinted that the man was a Libra. After all, Durant, born on September 29, happened to be the only Libra on the Nets roster at the time.

As for KD, his own remarks from past interviews might help explain what led to him arriving not alone to the date with Rhoades.

For instance, in an interview with I Show Speed and later on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive,” he spoke candidly about his views on relationships.

“I don’t want a girlfriend, just that simply put,” KD said, for instance.

Where is Lana Rhoades now?

Lana Rhoades started her professional career as an adult content creator at the age of 19 in 2016. She quit the following year. However, her videos are among the most viewed every year, especially on PornHub.

In 2021, she said she wished she could have all her videos deleted, adding to Harry Jowsey’s Tap In podcast: “I do. I honestly tell people, if I could go back, I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back, and for people not to be able to see me in that way.”

The host asked Rhoades how she was able to ‘get out’ of it and find her ‘identity outside of the industry’.

“I had to or it probably would have led to that point of killing myself. Because towards the end of it, I started having panic attacks before scenes because I really didn’t want to do them and I didn’t know how to say ‘no I don’t want to do this’,” she said.

If you or anyone you know is suicidal, do not hesitate to contact the appropriate authorities for help. You are not alone, and there is support available. You deserve to feel supported.

Since she retired from the adult industry, she has tried to venture into different businesses, including being a co-owner and chief creative operator of Hidden. This OnlyFans alternative that promises a fairer share of profits for sex workers and better working conditions.
